WHAT IS ROTARY?

Founded in 1905, Rotary is more than 1.2 million men and women in 29,000 Rotary Clubs in 1,760 countries throughout the world.

Rotary is "Service Above Self."  We perform civic services in our local community, contribute to the needy, honor our citizens, our veterans, our farmers and our students, and we participate in events that change the quality of life throughout the world.

Rotary is Fellowship.  We provide an opportunity to meet with fellow business people at weekly meetings and club events to share ideas and to form lasting friendships.

Rotary is Polio Plus.  Rotary's goal is to eradicate polio, worldwide.  Through work with national and international health organizations, more than one billion children in developing nations have been immunized against polio.
